One Big Beautiful Bill Act FACTS

With all the current misinformation and even outright LIES that's being spewed by Democrats and the left, let’s go over the FACTS regarding the One Big Beautiful Act (OBBBA).
The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) claims the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) will create a $3–4 trillion deficit over 10 years, but FAILED to take into account two very important factors: The first factor being the historical precedent, that lowering taxes actually brings in MORE tax revenue to the Federal government through an improved U.S. economy. We've seen this very thing for a fact through Presidents JFK, Ronald Reagan, and Donald Trump. And, the second factor is that the CBO did NOT include any Federal revenues that will be generated through tariffs.
Oddly, and hypocritically enough, the CBO DID earlier state that revenues from President Trump's tariffs will actually reduce the deficit by $2.8 trillion dollars.
On the other hand, the U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB) DID take these factors into account and determined that the OBBBA will reduce the federal deficit by $1.4 trillion over 10 years.
Personally, I think it wisest to believe the organization that actually took ALL factors into account. Don't you?
The 20-hour/week SNAP work requirement has actually been in place since 1996, when Bill Clinton signed the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act (PRWORA) into Law. The OBBBA simply extends it from age 54 to 64. That’s it.
As for the Medicaid hysteria: it trims $1T over 10 years—but ONLY by targeting waste, fraud, and merely 1/3rd of the 34M able-bodied, non-disabled, non-elderly, non-pregnant adults who have NO dependents, who although able to work, aren’t working. No one legally eligible (disabled, elderly, pregnant, etc.) will lose even a cent. Yes, up to 11.8M could lose coverage by 2034. But of the 71M on Medicaid, 34M are working-age adults (19–64) who aren’t elderly, pregnant, or disabled. They could work—but don’t. Prioritizing the 37M who truly need help keeps Medicaid sustainable. States can choose to fund the 11.8M if they want—but will they?
ONLY fraud and waste are being cut from Medicare. Medicaid, and Social Security. Legitimate and legal recipients of these programs will not see their benefits cut by even one single penny. And yes, there is widespread fraud. All official, all searchable, and no spin:

And, contrary to the Democrats and left's false claims, the OBBBA is NOT a Bill for President Trump's “rich buddies to get even richer”. The OBBBA includes 4.8T in tax cuts over 10 years which overwhelmingly benefits middle and working-class Americans vs. just $325B in spending over 10 years (mostly for ICE and the Border Patrol):
✅ No tax on tips
✅ No tax on overtime
✅ An additional #6,000 tax deduction for seniors
✅ $1,000 savings payout for every U.S. child through “Trump Accounts”
✅ Cuts income tax rates for all brackets
✅ Doubled Child Tax Credit
✅ 20% deduction for small businesses
✅ Corporate rate cut: 21% → 15%
✅ Capital gains indexed to inflation
✅ Repeals death tax
✅ Fixes marriage penalty
✅ 2% payroll tax holiday
✅ Tax credits for U.S. manufacturing
✅ Expands R&D credits
You may have noticed that President Trump's campaign promise of “No tax on Social Security” isn't in the Bill, and that's simply because of the 'Byrd Rule'; a Congressional Rule prohibiting changes to Social Security in Budget Reconciliation Legislation. So, for this reason, “No tax on Social Security” is being given its OWN Bill. Currently, there are 3 proposed Bills for this in the US House; H.R. 1040, H.R. 904, and the 'You Earned It, You Keep It Act'.
