President Trump’s "Classified" (Declassified) Documents

The documents that President Trump was holding at Mar-a-Lago were properly declassified and stored. The documents were automatically declassified under a standing Order (EO 13292) by Bush43, allowing the POTUS to take classified materials home.

In January 2022, President Trump returned 15 boxes to the NARA, and in June 2022, he “extensively cooperated” with a Grand Jury subpoena and returned additional boxes of documents:

The Presidential Records Act of 1978 allows the POTUS to possess classified documents that pertain to his administration as personal upon his exit from office — which is exactly what President Trump did. There's a reason why Jack Smith withheld any mention of 'The Presidential Records Act', and omitted it completely from his indictment. Because it exonerates President Trump of any wrongdoing,

President Trump also did not show classified documents to any unauthorized people. President Trump has clarified that what he was referring to on the tape were news clippings. Whether or not you believe him or not is actually irrelevant, as his explanation is perfectly reasonable, and would hold up in a Court of Law as nothing on tape dispels his explanation.

Also, damaging to this claim is the fact that this tape was edited from two different conversations from two different meetings. This renders it to not be credible “evidence”: A staffer who was at that meeting testified that President Trump did NOT show them any classified or top secret documents, and that the alleged "classified documents" they claim Trump displayed are not even named as any part of DOJ charges.

In June 2023, just a few weeks after Jack Smith had handed down his classified documents indictment against Trump, the Biden White House collaborated with NARA, the DOJ, and the DOE to remove Trump’s ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE! More recently, they've uncovered secret documents showing that Jack Smith met with the Biden Administration before the raid. Let's call this what is, a setup to serve as election interference to stop Trump's campaign.

Here's former US Attorney Will Scharf's excellent Twitter/X thread on why Jack Smith's indictment of President Trump is pure bullshit ... "I am a former Assistant U.S. Attorney, worked on two Supreme Court confirmations, and clerked for two federal appellate judges ..."

Now, that President Trump’s innocence has been established, let’s look at some actual violations of both the Presidential Records Act (which applies only to the POTUS) and the Federal Records Act (which does not apply to the POTUS);

Joe Biden is holding nearly 2,000 boxes of classified documents from his time as a Senator and as Vice President, for which he had no declassification authority. He had boxes at the University of Delaware, in Chinatown, DC, in Pennsylvania, and in his wide=open garage, with unauthorized people handling and moving those documents around in all locations. Why no indictments?
