An Inconvenient Truth About Democrats And Nazis
HISTORICAL FACT: Democrats LOVED Fascism and the Nazis as they rose to power in the 30's and some even into the 40's!
And, the Nazis repaid that love by copying Democrat policies such as Jim Crow, which the Third Reich used to craft their own legal policies of enforced discrimination.
And, even today Nazis LOVE Democrats!
The Nazis were also Socialists. Not only did their newly elected leader, Adolf Hitler add the word "Socialist" to the title of the "National German Worker's Party", but their official 25-Point Party Platform was entirely Socialist. Where the Nazi Party differed from most Socialists is in believing that Socialism could ONLY work at the national level, hence "National Socialist".
And lastly, Fascism is Left-wing. The core ideology of Fascism is both statist and collectivist; pursuing centralized government control of all aspects of society and the economy. It's pretty clear that this has NO logical relationship whatsoever to the Conservative ideology of small government, laissez-faire Capitalism and personal Liberty. It does, however, pretty well match the Democratic Party's platform and policies.
