The Ongoing Collection of Joe Biden’s Lies

Joe Biden's penchant for lying is downright pathological.

01: On December 16th, 2022 speaking before a group of veterans, Joe Biden claimed that when he was elected vice president in 2008, his father contacted him and asked him to finagle a Purple Heart for his brother, Biden’s Uncle Frank.

You know, I — my dad, when I got elected Vice President, he said, “Joey, Uncle Frank fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He was not feeling very well now — not because of the Battle of the Bulge. But he said, “And he won the Purple Heart. And he never received it. He never — he never got it. Do you think you could help him get it? We’ll surprise him. So we got him the Purple Heart. He had won it in the Battle of the Bulge. And I remember he came over to the house, and I came out, and he said, “Present it to him, okay?” We had the family there. I said, “Uncle Frank, you won this. And I want to…” He said, “I don’t want the damn thing.” (Laughter.) No, I’m serious. He said, “I don’t want it.” I said, “What’s the matter, Uncle Frank? You earned it.” He said, “Yeah, but the others died. The others died. I lived. I don’t want it.” Just like a generation — this generation in Vietnam — excuse me, in — in Iraq.”

Problem: It never happened. It couldn’t have happened. Biden’s father, Joe Biden Sr., died in 2002, and Frank Biden died in 1999. Frank Biden’s tombstone does not identify him as a Purple Heart honoree, nor does his obituary. In addition, Frank Biden’s name does not appear of any list of known Purple Heart recipients.

02: In Afghanistan, then-VP Biden claimed, to honor a Navy captain who had “rappelled down a 60-foot ravine under fire and retrieved the body of an American comrade, carrying him on his back.” Biden said that when he tried to pin a Silver Star on the captain, “he said, ‘Sir, I don’t want the damn thing! Do not pin it on me, Sir! Please, Sir. Do not do that! He died. He died.” Biden concluded, “This is the God’s truth. My word as a Biden.

Problem: The Washington Post after conducting interviews with more than a dozen U.S. troops, their commanders and Biden campaign officials, colluded the story was untrue, and never happened.

03: In 2020 Joe Biden made a campaign promise to “not take part in the spread of disinformation over social media in his campaign for president, including rejecting the use of deep fake videos, synthetic media accounts, and bot networks to attack opponents”.

04: Biden claimed we didn’t have a COVID-91 vaccine when he took office

Problem: The COVID-19 vaccines were out and being administered in early December 2020. When Biden took office a month later, over 1 million vaccine doses had been administered. Joe Biden himself got his first vaccine shot on December 21st, 2020. A month before taking office.:

Problem: He, in fact, knew everything about Hunter’s business doings, and even met with and paled around with Hunter’s business partners.

06: He claims he never told illegal immigrants to come to the US or to surge the border.

Problem: Except he DID say it, and more than just once. His own recorded words are here, and here.

07: Before the November 2022 midterm elections, Biden lied about creating 1M jobs in the 2nd quarter. The actual number was 10,500. Big difference.

08: He lied, saying that he never told the Ukraine Ambassador to fire the prosecutor investigating Hunter Biden’s company, Burisma Holdings.

Problem: A video later showed up with him bragging about doing exactly that.

09: While visiting a Mack Truck facility, he claimed he used to drive an 18-wheeler. Suffice it to say, he never did.

10: He claimed that he and Barack Obama saved the US auto industry. They didn’t.

11: He claimed that 83% of President Trump’s tax cuts went to the 1%. This was a lie.

12: He said that 90 of the Fortune 500 companies making billions of dollars are not paying a cent in taxes. The Committee on Ways and Means rated this false.

Problem: The FBI’s own report shows this statement is false. In 2018 the FBI released a report that Ranked 'Black Identity Extremists' Bigger Threat Than Al Qaeda, White Supremacists

14: Biden claims he was the first in his family to go to college. This is a lie, and is based on Biden plagiarizing a speech by British Labor leader Neil Kinnock. He was forced to drop out of the 1988 election because of it.

15: He claimed that he went to college on a full scholarship, won the international moot-court competition, and graduated in the top half of his class with three degrees.

Here's news footage covering his lies and his plagiarism in 1988 during his bid for President. This is back when the news outlets actually did their job, and didn't conduct themselves as the propaganda wing of the Democratic Party.

17: He claimed that he was arrested and thrown in jail when he went to Africa to visit Nelson Mandela in jail. He further went on to claim that Nelson Mandela "thanked" him for being arrested.

Problem: Aside from the trip to Africa, none of this ever happened. Authorities merely denied his request to see Mandela. He was neither arrested or jailed and Mandela never thanked him for being arrested.

18: He claimed that he was against the war in Iraq from the very beginning, and that the only reason he supported the war was because President Bush "tricked" him into it. Guess what? Yup! A complete lie exposed by his own words and actions.

19: Biden now claims that he took part in and marched during the Civil Rights movement. However, his own earlier words prove that he's lying about that.

20: Biden falsely CLAIMS that he created the most jobs of any President in US history, but nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, it's an open bold-faced lie easily debunked. BLS data shows 159M Americans were employed in Febuary 2020. The Democrat's pandemic shutdowns collapsed the number of jobs to 133M by April 2020. Before leaving office, President Trump was able to recover 17M of those jobs, bringing the number up to 150M. Under Biden's administration, we regained an additional 10.5M jobs by the 2022 midterms, while at the same time losing 3.5M jobs, bringing the number to 157M. This figure is still down 2M jobs from where we started in Febuary 2020 under President Trump.

Later, Biden lied about having creating 1.1M jobs in the 2nd quarter of 2022 when the actual number was 10,500! Proof is here and here. Huge difference, huh? In February 2023, Biden continued his lies regarding job creation and made the claim that he added an additional 1.5M in the previous month. However, in January 2023 we actually lost 2.5M jobs!

21: Biden has claimed repeatedly that his son, Beau died in Iraq.

22: When speaking in front of Black congregations, Biden likes to tell the story of how he used to attend a black church daily, and work on Civil Rights issues. Of course, it's all lies. Furthermore ...

23: And, he's claimed that he was raised in a Puerto Rican community in Delaware. Naturally, this is a lie as well.

24: In 2021, Joe told a dramatic story of their house burning down in 2004 with Jill still inside (horrors!), declaring that "everything was ruined" from the basement to the attic and "we almost lost a couple firefighters"! It was actually just a small kitchen fire that was contained withing 20 minutes. The house did not burn down, and no one "almost died".

25: He said he visited Pittsburgh’s Tree of Life synagogue after the 2018 massacre, speaking to the rabbi, The synagogue says that he never visited them. 26: On multiple occasions, Joe, apparently attempting to show that he's "a man of the people", lied about having a conversation he held with an Amtrak conductor named Angelo Negri in his 7th year as Vice President, which would have been in 2015. The problem here is that Angelo Negri retired in 1993 and died in 2014.

27: Biden has repeatedly lied that President Trump did not deliver the promised vaccine, that there was "no vaccine available", and that President Trump did not have any plans in place to distribute vaccines to the American people. This is a total and complete lie from top to bottom. First, the first FDA-authorized vaccine was delivered in December 2020 under President Trump, and distributed to all 50 States, with the Trump Administration paying up front for 600M more doses to be delivered free to all Americans. In fact, Joe Biden received his very first dose under the Trump Administration on December 21st, 2020 on live television.

28: In 2022, Biden falsely claimed we had "zero percent inflation" when in fact, inflation had just hit 8.5%

29: He falsely claimed that he got Student Loan Forgiveness passed. I got it passed by a vote or two. And it’s in effect." Nope! It never happened.

30: In his efforts to bolster gun control efforts, Biden lied about our Founder's intent in creating the 2nd Amendment, saying "The Second Amendment, from the day it was passed, limited the type of people who could own a gun and what type of weapon you could own." This is a complete falsehood. There are no restrictions or limitations on the people's Right to bear arms, while there is a limitation on the government's power and authority to deny this Right.

32: On April 25th, 2023 at the at North America’s Building Trades Unions (NABTU) Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C. Biden told an audience completely unneccessary and inexplicable lies regarding his grandfather.

"My grandpop, who I never met — he died in the same hospital I was born in two weeks before I was born."

Joseph Robinette Biden Jr, was born on November 20, 1942 in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

His paternal grandfather, Joseph Harry Biden (who is the one Biden was referenced as working for American Oil), died 18 months earlier on September 26th, 1941 in in Baltimore City, Maryland. Different year, different cities, and obviously, different hospitala.

His maternal grandfather, Ambrose Joseph Finnegan, died on May 27th, 1957 in Scranton, Pennsylvania, 14 and a half years after Joseph Robinette Biden Jr was born.

33: In a speach to the group 'Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law' Biden made the claim that he talking Senator Strom Thurmon into voting for the Civil Rights Act.

I was able — literally, not figuratively — talk Strom Thurmond into voting for the — the Civil Rights Act before he died. And I thought, ‘Well, maybe there’s real progress,’

The problems here are that the Civil Rights Act was passed in 1964 when Joe was in college, and hadn't met the Senator, and Senator Thurmon had voted against it.

34: Biden claims that he visited Ground Zero in NYC the day after the attack. He didn't.

35: Joe likes to tell the tall tale that he and Jill met on a blind date and fell in love. But that's not at all what happened. Not according to Jill's ex-husband, Bill Stevenson .

36: He claimed the suvivors of the Parkland school shooting came to see him when he was Vice President to speak about gun control. Except the Parkland shooting occurred in 2018.

37: On Jan 8th, 2024 while addressing the congregation of the Bethel AME Church in Wilmington, Delaware,he claimed to have started a civil rights movement in that very church: I’ve spent more time in the Bethel AME Church in Wilmington, Delaware, than most people I know, black or white, have spent in that church because that’s where I started a civil rights movement”. As we already know from items 19 and 22, this is a lie.

38: The day after the collapse of the Francis Scott Key bridge in Balitimore, Biden made the claim that he had commuted many times over the bridge by train.

39: On multiple occassions, Biden has told the story that his Uncle "Bosey" was shot down over New Guinea and was most likely eaten by cannibals as his remains were bever found. A great story to be sure, but, of course, it's just another insane Biden lie.

The truth is that his Uncle "Bosey" was a passenger on a plane that suffered engine failure (not "shot dow") went down in the Pacific Ocean North of New Guinea. One man was able to escape the sinking plane and was eventually rescued,, but the other 3 men (including Uncle "Bosey") never emerged from the plane andsankl with the plane to the bbottom of the Pacific Ocean. This is according to the lone suvivor of the crash, and the Pentagon's Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency.

40: Joe Biden apparently loves to tell the story of the time he was arrested for standing on the porch with a black family that had just moved into his neighborhood. He's told this story a number of times, and of course, as happens with all lies, the story changes with each telling.

41: Biden often brags about his skills and prowess as a High School football player. (shades of Al Bundy?) He likes to boast, “I was the runner-up at state scoring championship”. The truth, however, is that he was fifth.

42: ...

This list is a work in progress. And, you can be plenty damn sure that there's a lot more to come ....
